Dr. Yvonne Araujo

Assistant Principal

yaraujo@stedward.org

The Catholic education system has played a central role in both my education and my professional life.

My Bachelor of Science degree is in Mathematics with a Master of Arts in Teaching (Grand Canyon University - Phoenix, AZ) and a Doctorate in Learning Organizations and Strategic Change (Lipscomb University - Nashville, TN).

I have been in the field of education for 25 years. Over the years, I have taught math, reading/English language arts, and computers in grades K-12. I have been in administration, serving in different capacities for the last 15 years. I am committed to employing best practices in traditional or hybrid settings for differentiated instruction, math intervention, literacy skills development, classroom management, effective use of data with assessments, and technology integration. I bring expertise in data management, analysis and integration; curriculum and instruction development; school accreditation; change management; professional development training; teacher mentorship; and teacher performance evaluations.

I enjoy working with my colleagues and teaching our students. It is a blessing to be able to do what I do! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your child's learning and growth at St. Edward Church and School!
