Dr. Yvonne Araujo

Assistant Principal

The Catholic education system has been a guiding force throughout Dr. Yvonne Araujo's personal and professional journey. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Grand Canyon University, and a Doctorate in Learning Organizations and Strategic Change from Lipscomb University. With more than 25 years of experience in education, Dr. Araujo has taught math, reading/ELA, and computer science to students in grades K–12, and has served in various administrative roles for the past 15 years.


Dr. Araujo brings a wealth of expertise in differentiated instruction, math intervention, literacy development, classroom management, and the integration of technology in learning. She is also highly experienced in data analysis, curriculum development, school accreditation, and teacher mentorship and evaluation. Dr. Araujo is passionate about working alongside her colleagues and supporting student growth. She considers it a true blessing to be part of the St. Edward Church and School community, where faith and academic excellence come together each day.
