
Laura Ross
School Counselor
Laura Ross serves as the School Counselor and SEL (Social and Emotional Learning) classroom teacher for grades K–8 at St. Edward Church and School. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Kentucky University and a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University. Before joining the world of education, Laura spent 15 years working with families and children in Tennessee's foster care system, gaining valuable experience that informs her work with students today.
Now entering her fifth year at St. Edward, Laura is passionate about creating a warm, welcoming environment where students feel safe, supported, and empowered to grow socially and emotionally. She brings both expertise and compassion to her role and values the strong sense of community that defines St. Edward. Outside of school, Laura enjoys birdwatching, crafting, reading, exercising, and spending time with her husband, their two boys, and their cat.
