Lunch Options & Pricing

The cafeteria offers at least two lunch items daily. Each meal includes an entrée, vegetable/side salad, fresh fruit or vegetable, and a drink (water, chocolate milk, regular milk, or juice).

 

• Pre-ordered lunches (ordered online before 7:30 AM): $5.25

• Day-of purchases: $5.75

• Ice cream (all varieties): $1.50

• Additional milk/drinks: $1.00

 

 

Ice cream and extra drinks can be purchased daily through pre-order or in the lunch line with cash or check.

Online Ordering System

St. Edward uses EZSchoolApps for online lunch ordering and account management.

This account-based system allows you to load money to your student's account and pre-order meals. Pre-ordering saves $0.50 per lunch.

How Online Ordering Works

• Load funds to your student's account

• Each pre-order deducts from the account balance

• No processing fee for daily orders (only when adding funds via credit card)

• You can save your credit card information for convenience

• Order or cancel lunches daily until 7:30 AM

• To cancel an order, change the menu item to "NO MEAL" (credit will appear on your pre-order balance)

• For same-day illness after 7:30 AM, contact Mary Wheeler by email or stop by the kitchen

 

Payment Options

• Online account: Add funds directly through EZSchoolApps

• Cash or check: Use the payment mailbox located outside the office by the elevator

• Day-of purchases: Can be paid with cash/check or charged to the student account
   

Account Balances

Homeroom teachers take daily lunch counts. Students with active accounts can purchase lunch and have the cost deducted from their balance. Weekly email notifications are sent when accounts need funds and to update you on any negative balances.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to pre-order lunches? — Pre-ordering is encouraged and saves money, but day-of purchases are available. Teachers take daily lunch counts. Day-of lunches can be paid with cash/check or charged to the student account. Milk and ice cream can be pre-ordered or paid for in the lunch line (these items will not be charged to student accounts).
 

Can I change or cancel an order? — You can order or cancel lunches daily until 7:30 AM. Change your menu item to "NO MEAL" to cancel (this creates a credit on your balance). If your child goes home sick after the deadline, contact Mary Wheeler when you pick them up.
 

What if my child forgets their lunch or doesn't have an online order? — Homeroom teachers take a daily lunch count. Students with active accounts can purchase lunch. Students without funds will have charges applied to their account, and you'll receive weekly notifications to add funds.
