Clubs & Activities

Beyond the school day

Learning does not stop when the last class ends. St. Edward offers clubs and activities that let students follow an interest, try something new, and spend time with friends around something they care about. Offerings rotate through the year.

Current & Revolving Clubs

  • Afterschool clubs begin the week of September 14, 2026.

  • Clubs meet 3:30 to 4:30 PM and run 10 sessions during the 1st semester.

  • Each club costs $250, billed via FACTS; payment plans available.

Keyboard Club | Grades 2-8 | Mondays

Learn or sharpen your piano skills in Keyboard Club! Students of all experience levels will practice basic techniques, music reading, rhythm, and simple songs in a fun and supportive environment.

The Logic Lab: Train Your Brain! | Grades 5-8 | Mondays

Put your problem-solving skills to the test through brain teasers, strategy games, code-breaking, Sudoku, logic puzzles, and team challenges. Students will learn to think like detectives, recognize patterns, make quick decisions, and solve tricky problems with confidence. No boring worksheets required!

Kindness Club | Grades K-8 | Mondays

Turn small acts of kindness into big acts of service! Students will participate in hands-on activities such as creating encouraging cards, preparing care packages, organizing kindness challenges, and helping members of our school and community. The club will conclude with a large service project chosen and planned by the students, with older members having opportunities to serve as leaders.

Tabletop Role-Playing Club | Grades 5-8 | Mondays

Students will build characters, explore fantasy worlds, and roll the dice to help shape exciting stories!

Pokémon Club | Grades 4-8 | Mondays

Get ready to catch 'em all! Students will learn to play the Pokémon Trading Card Game, build simple decks, practice strategies, and enjoy friendly matches. Pokémon-themed games, activities, challenges, and plenty of opportunities to share favorite cards will make this club fun for beginners and experienced players alike.

Puzzle Club: Put the Pieces Together! | Grades 2-8 | Mondays

Slow down, think creatively, and put your problem-solving skills to work! Students will complete a variety of puzzles independently and with friends while developing patience, concentration, spatial reasoning, perseverance, and pattern-recognition skills, all through screen-free fun.

Woodworking Club | Grades K-8 | Mondays

Build something amazing with your own two hands! Students will learn basic woodworking techniques and safely use tools such as hammers, nails, hand saws, clamps, screwdrivers, and measuring tools. Through useful projects and creative pieces of art, students will problem-solve, experiment, and add their own personal touches. No previous experience required.

Pom Club | Grades K-5 | Mondays

Get ready to move! Students will learn an energetic pom routine featuring jazz and hip-hop styles, then cheer with spirit at a school pep rally. The pep rally date will be announced later.

​

Chess Club (The Knight School, outside vendor) | Grades PreK-8 | Wednesdays

The Knight School brings high-energy, beginner-friendly chess parties to St. Edward! Through engaging lessons and friendly competition, students will learn chess while strengthening focus, logic, problem-solving, planning, confidence, and social skills.
