Hello SES families!
I was born and raised in Poland, a small town in Ohio just outside of Youngstown. I attended Youngstown State University. I moved to Cincinnati after college and began my career in elementary special education. I have a passion for teaching students with disabilities. I moved to Nashville 20 years ago and continued in elementary special education during with MNPS. I came to SES 3 years ago. Last year I left SES in January to teach kindergarten at St. Pius X Classical Academy. This is my 4th school year at SES and my 25th year in education. This year I will be teaching kindergarten. While at I have taught a cooking and Lego club as well. I am so glad to back! Once a Saint, always a Saint! God has given me the gift to teach and it brings me so much joy!
I enjoy baking, cooking, dancing, reading, walking, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
I grew up in a large Irish/Italian Catholic family. My faith is very important to me. Transitioning to SES from public school was easy for me because it was what I grew up knowing. I am blessed to be a part of the SES community. Being able to bring God into my classroom is such a special part of being able to teach here!
