
Denise Mulloy was born in Ohio and lived in Texas before moving to Nashville 30 years ago. She holds a degree in Fashion Merchandising from The Art Institute of Houston. After working 20 years in retail management and accounts receivable, she returned to school and earned her teaching degree from Aquinas College, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in Teacher Education. Since joining St. Edward in 2010, Denise has taught PreK, Kindergarten, 4th grade, and now 1st grade. After two years of substitute teaching at St. Edward, she is grateful to serve as a full-time teacher.
Her husband, Paul, is a St. Edward alumnus, and their two children also graduated from St. Edward. In her free time, Denise enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, watching football, drinking pumpkin spice lattes, and exploring new teaching concepts to bring into the classroom.
