Barbara DeHarde is a native Tennessean. She was born in Clarksville but has lived in Nashville for more than 30 years. She graduated from Austin Peay State University with a BBA in Accounting. She is a retired CPA who worked for over 30 years in state government as an auditor with the Department of Audit and accountant/fiscal director with the Secretary of State. After retiring from the state, she started working part-time in the church office as the Accounting Clerk.

Barbara has been involved at St Edward Church and School for many years as a parishioner and as a parent as her four children attended St Edward School. She still has a son at Fr Ryan High School.

Barbara lives with her husband of more than 38 years and her teenage son. In her spare time, she loves to read, bake, and as of very recently, care for her baby granddaughter one day a week.
