Fr. Bulso was born and raised in Nashville. The oldest of five children, he grew up as a parishioner of the Cathedral of the Incarnation and attended Holy Rosary Academy and Overbrook School before going on to graduate from Pope John Paul II High School in 2005, where he was in the first graduating class. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in the Program of Liberal Studies at the University of Notre Dame in 2009 and started seminary the next Fall. After two years of Pre-Theology at the Pontifical College Josephinum, he went to the North American College in Rome. He was ordained to the priesthood in 2015, and, after ordination, he returned to Rome to complete the License of Sacred Theology in Biblical Theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University. He served as Associate Pastor at St. Henry starting in 2017 and then was appointed pastor of St. Edward in 2020. He holds a degree in Canon Law from the Catholic University of America and serves in several diocesan roles: Vicar for Priests, Director of the Priest Personnel Board, and Adjunct Judicial Vicar.
